The Staircase: A look inside the Michael Peterson Murder trial with his lawyer David Rudolf

Netflix has done it again with true crime documentary “The Staircase.”  The riveting series follows the murder trial of Michael Peterson.  Like “Making a Murderer” the documentary is in real time, so you actually experience the trial as if it were occurring while you are watching, including the jury verdict!  In this episode, David S. Rudolf, the lead defense attorney for the case takes us inside the trial and talks to us about the experience of being filmed while he prepared for trial.   Rudolf dives into the challenges that he and his team faced at trial, including very questionable evidentiary rulings by the trial judge which will shock you.
