Why Isn’t There More Technology in the Shooting Sports?

Ryan in VA sent his email to podcast@triangletactical.net for this episode of the podcast:

Why aren’t there more technological advancements in the shooting sports, particularly with regards to match management? While you guys put the Nook to good use at the Wake County Action Pistol Matches, I’ve never seen them used anywhere else. One non-existent piece of technology that I think would be neat would be a shot timer that would communicate with digital scoring software and inform shooters of their splits along with their match times/scores.

Our opinion: just buy a Shotmaxx if you’re interested in having all that information.
