Matters of the Heart
There are so many different things that can cause heart disease that it seems to slip up on us very quietly, very subtly, and without warning. If you know what to look for it's not that hard to avoid! Cholesterol has been touted as one of the most important risk factors in heart disease, but numerous well-funded and legitimate studies have proven that to be false over and over again. Heart disease comes from inflammation of the endothelium of the arterial walls which creates plaque, and therefore restricts the flow of blood through the coronary arteries. Other factors can be pollutants in your body which would include air pollution from exhaust, heavy metals which we are all full of, and lack of nutrients for your heart muscle to work correctly. Two of my favorite supplements that will increase your heart health is our Amino- Flo and Liposomal C. These serve the purpose of decreasing inflammation and decreasing the plaque buildup on the insides of the arterial walls. These are so effective that most people will notice a very quick decrease in blood pressure and the energy associated with better blood flow to all areas of the body! Another thing Janet and I will talk about on the podcasts is called "Rumor Has It." This will dispel the myth in the rumors and tell the entire truth about certain studies which the media generally leaves out in order to sensationalize a point but not tell the truths that you can use for better health. So for more detailed information please download our podcast and you'll probably be rewarded with a laugh or two! Keep in mind that laughter increases this neurotransmitter called serotonin so it serves two purposes also. Join the conversation on our Facebook page ! May God always bless you with joy in your eyes, love in your heart, and laughter upon your lips, Dr. Stephen Lewis
